Young And The Restless Scoop June 20: Sally And Adam Mourn The Loss Of Their Baby – Sharon’s Awake For The First Time Since Rey Died

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, June 20 reveals Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will each receive a heartbreaking memento of their loss.

Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will arrive at Sally’s side and will also provide some comfort to his brother. Plus, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) doesn’t regret her actions. And Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will tell Adam he’s there for him.

Y&R spoilers tease Adam will tell Sally he had to make a decision, “Elena gave me no time. They said there was a chance they could only save one of you. I chose you – how could I not?” Sally will tell him the baby was all she had, but she was taken from her. “It was taken from us, Sally,” Adam will say. “She had no one to fight for her but us and I couldn’t do it – but you could!” she’ll shout. And he chose to let her die. “You should have just let me go with her!”

Y&R Daily Scoop – Nick Holds Sally While She Grieves

Meanwhile, Nick will volunteer to stick around Sharon’s place, but she’ll tell him he should get to the hospital to check on Sally. Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will come downstairs and ask Sharon if the bag in the living room belonged to Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby). “Can you put it outside, until the cops come to pick it up?” she’ll ask. They’ll talk about what happened and Faith will say she was scared, but she also knew Sharon would come for her.

Back at the hospital, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpi) will hand Adam a bag. “A memento,” she’ll say. Then Nick will arrive and Adam will say they called him a hundred times. “What was so important that you couldn’t be with Sally?” But Nick will tell him it was life and death. “For us too,” Adam will reply. “The baby, she didn’t make it.” Nick will head into Sally’s room and he’ll hold her. “It should have been me,” Sally will tell Nick. “Adam had a choice, between me and the baby and he chose me.” But Nick will say Adam made the right choice.

After Nick leaves, Elena will return and hand Sally a box. It contains a card with the baby’s footprints, and her name, Ava Hope Spectra. There’s also a tiny pink hat and pink socks inside. Sally will weep as she touches them. Then she’ll press a button. “I would like to see my baby now, if that’s okay.”

Young And The Restless Scoop – Sharon Says She Feels Alive

In the hallway, Nick will tell Adam he could use a drink and they’ll agree to meet at Society. “I’m glad you were there,” Nick will say to his brother. Adam will tell him Sally blames him for everything. “I  know this is not going to make you feel any better but you did the right thing Adam,” Nick will say. Then Adam will tell Nick he should be with Sharon and Faith. “They need you more than I do.” And Nick will embrace him.

Once he’s alone, Adam will open his box and look at the tiny pink socks and hat. Victor will arrive and tell Adam he’s sorry. But Adam will say he blames himself. “There’s something corrupt in me that did this to her.” However, Victor will say he went through something like this and he turned away from everyone. He doesn’t want Adam to do the same thing. But Adam will say he has to get through it alone. “No son you don’t,” Victor will tell him. “I will always be there for you.”

Finally, Nick will return to the cottage and he’ll tell Sharon and Faith that Sally lost her baby. They’ll express their sympathies and when Faith goes upstairs, he’ll tell Sharon she was justified in killing Cameron. But he knows from experience that it’ll haunt her. “Honestly Nick, I feel alive, like I’ve been asleep since Rey died,” Sharon will say. “Just pouring coffee and listening to other people’s problems. Now? Now I’m awake.”
